About Me

My names are oliver balu suleiman, a resident in mtwapa mtomondoni in Kenya. This is a town located within the Kenyan beautiful coastal beaches.am married with one wife and one child.my occupation is selling of second hand clothes within here in mtwapa,i buy them in mombasa at the mombasa port and sell them at a good price for me to get profits. Its a good business.i have never been employed and i have been ion this business for five years now.i went to mtomondoni primary school then to a high school called mtwapa secondary. After that i never went to college to my lack of fees as am from a very poor background.I started this business in order to help my self and my family especially my child to go to better school.I also started this because of the high population within mtwapa since its about to become a model town in Kenya.i will use the earnings to add more stock and expand my business to be able to attract more people and help my family with basic needs.i will also use my zidisha loan well and in future i plan to wholesale to other uocoming businessmen within mtwapa and outside mtwapa.

My Business

My occupation is selling of second hand clothes within here in mtwapa,These are clothes that have already been used by other rich people and they sell them inform of bales to the underdeveloped nations. i buy them in mombasa at the mombasa port and sell them at a good price for me to get profits. Its a good business because am able to keep myself and my family. i buy about seven bales in one moth which is about Kenyan shillings 60,000.i sell them making a profit of Kenya shillings 30,000 in one month, there are also expenses involved which includes transport, car hire, fuelling am able to remain with a net profit of Kenya 20,000.Demands for these good s is high since majority of the locals are very poor and cannot afford to buy expensive items and therefore opt for these reasonable priced second hand clothes.competition is there though i overcome it by going out to the field to look for customers. This has been very useful because am able to reach out to a good number of my customers. It is so profitable because most of my customers like my goods and services and therefore able able to pull a lot people.

Loan Proposal

right now am selling my clothes at an open air market. whereby most of my products get fade. so when i get this loan i will use ksh 5000 to cover the place where am selling my clothes. and the rest ksh 35.000 i will use them to buy or add more stock in my shop. during this festive season i will be able to sell more and this will make the difference in my sales because i will be selling more and make more profit.
