my name is ronald,i was born in 1988 in namwala,southern province of zambia. i went to school at st edmonds secondary school i completed my grade twelve in 2013.i could not afford to go to college therefore i decided to venture into business.having lived in namwala,an area where there is plenty of fish,i decided to get into the fish business.i sell fresh fish. i usually get the fish from the kafue river from the fishermen there.iam married and i have one child.it is from this same busines that i pay rentals and take care of my family
My Business
my business is fish business. i sell fresh fish which i get from fishermen at the kafue river in namwala.i sell the fresh fish to restuarant owners in town as well as to individuals and sometimes i take to lodges.i order a kg of fish at $1 and i sell at $2 per kg .i havent been ordering enough fish to meet the demand due to limited capital.my brother told me about zidisha and i decided to apply so that i can use the money to buy a deep freezer which il use to keep my fish.i do not order a lot of fish coz the freezer i have is small and it cant accommodate alot of fish.therefore when i get a big freezer il be able to order enough fish to meet the demand

when i get the loan,i will use it to buy a freezer.the freezer will cost me $140.when i get this freezer i will be able to buy enough fish to met the demand.il nolonger worry about asking my neighbors for space in their freezers.i believe the freezer will make my business to improve greatly and that means a better life for me and my family
