About Me

I was raised by a single mother.In my family we are three,two brothers and one sister.We used to rent a house and moved from one rental place to another due to non payment of rent.Food was scarce and we survived purely by the grace of GOD and good neighbors.My mom was an alcoholic and a commercial sex worker.Most of the time she was away and we knew not her whereabouts.Due to lack of parental support we all managed schooling up to primary level.She later passed away due to HIV&Aids.This was an eye opener for me being the eldest amongst my siblings.I started my business by chance really.During my moms burial we could not find the flowers and bouquets that were needed.The funeral committee went quite a distant to look for the same.This gave me an insight into an opportunity of flower business within my locality.I my survey about the business and realised indeed there was a need of this product not just for funerals but weddings,birthdays and in churches.My relatives contributed a small capital and gave to me to start off.Today i supply flowers in my locality for many occassions.My people love to drink milk and the mala kind with herbs.Its called Mursik.Iam married with two children now.One started baby class this year and the other is barely one year.I want my children to study up to university and get a better life than me.Iam working smart and hard to make this dream come true.

My Business

I sell flowers.Flowers for various occasions,funerals,weddings,parties, and church decorations.I have a network of customers around my town center.Flowers not ONLY provide beauty for an event they also bring meaning to an events as well.There is a high demand for this good.Most weekends are full of activities and occasionally lovers buy flowers to express their feelings to their loved ones.This business i started it by chance really.When my mother died the funeral committee journeyed far to get the flowers for the funeral occasion and its from this that i got an idea of starting this business.My daily costs are 280$ and my daily revenues are 20$.I use my profits to take care of my family and pay fees for my sister who has just joined secondary schooling.

Loan Proposal

With this loan i will buy,white roses 150$,Red roses 150$,carnations 100$.The total budget will be 400$.This will increase my sales and my profits to 40%.This will benefit me personally because i will pay fees for my sister who is in secondary school and my child at kindergarten.I will also invest back to the business and pay for my private secondary studies.I also have a long term plan of buying a piece of land and putting up my own house to settle my young family.My customers will get this product with ease and will have a variety to choose from as well.I have some small savings and i will top up with the loan to be able to realise the budget proposal.
