I was born i a poor family of six... with only 2 girls... my sister got married at a young age we lost contact .. as i was young.. my dad wanted me to get married off but i decided to work hard in school and i finished my primary education it was too expensive to go to highskool so i started working in the mine .. digging for rocks... to fend for myself.. 2years later i got pregnant and it.. had to raise my baby alone .. now i had to work twice as hard ... and i got used to it ...
What i like most about where i am is that were united as a clan we all help each other when the times get hard
As for now i just want my daughter to have a better life than the 1 i have... and to finish school... and be an inspiration to the family
I wouldnt call it a hobby cause its more of a passion to me... going to church is the best way i knw to passtime and be proud ...
i provide mining services as its mostly digging for rocks and shaping them so theyd be easy to use
In kenya houses are built by rocks which makes them in demand and i sale them for cheap .. i chose this kind of business as it is the most convinient type in our area and i had relatives doing it so they helped me to where i am..
My cost arent that high as i only spend money on bus fare and most importantly food... since to do this kind of work .. u have to eat healthy...so per day i can spend upto a dollar on both food and fare... and i can make upto 3dollars a day ..
70% of the profits i use on my home rent and feeding my daughter as the rest i save... incase of anythng
I will buy safety equipments mostly the hat that protects your head from injuries when you get hit and and also tools so as too improve the amount and quality of the rocks that i mine and shape as my current tools are too old and sometimes i have to borrow.. it will cost me almost 50dollars for both
I also and most importantly want to give my daughter good education by being able to pay her fee and buy her new uniform... she is currently not at school as she was sent home due to lack of funds... her fee and uniform is 40dollars the rest i will save up for her .. for future needs...
