Jackline Arusa paid 400 shillings and you have not yet credited that money. It is dissapointing that she updated you and up to date you are still asking her to pay back what she had paid.

Please look the information from Jackline about 400 shillings that she paid, but if you will not agree that she paid I will pay for her again. But it will not be good to ask her pay twice.

    In regards,

    William.

Jambo Jackline, how are you and your daughter doing and how is your business? This is James, one of the lenders. Joy is the perfect name for your daughter as I'm sure that she brings you much joy. I have not heard that name in many years. Were you able to get the blow dryer? I am sure you were busy during the holidays. I have a daughter in Nakuru who has a salon and she always tells me how busy she is during the holidays. Yes the women like their hair to look nice. You didn't mention it but do you also cut mens hair? If not, think of all the extra money you could be making. Men need their hair cut too. Grow your business one step at a time and be patient along the way to your goal, you'll make it, I have confidence in you that you will. Get to know your customers real well, perhaps write their names in a book. It's good to keep records for various reasons. Perhaps offer them a discount on their next hairdo if they bring in a new customer. Another way to get some extra money is to sell snacks and sodas to the waiting customers. Do you have a fridge? How about enough chairs for waiting customers? I know it's hot in Nakuru now and my daughter (another one) told me that people are really buying a lot of sodas. My daughter has an m-pesa and a store. I also have a daughter named Jackline who works at a lodge. She was on the cover of the "SATURDAY with the Daily Nation" magazine in 2000. Beautiful girl she is, of course all my daughters are beautiful to me. You also could make the cover of a magazine, really. I've been to Kenya 3 times, have many daughters and sons there. Beautiful place, beautiful people. Am praying for you and Joy and your business every day. Let me know how you are doing, I want you to succeed Jackline. Give that Joy a hug and kiss for me. Am sure she's "as cute as a button" (a saying). She's got to be, she's your daughter. Take care. James

Jambo James. Thank you so much for writing to me and sending greetings to my daughter Joy. I love her very much and she is beautiful to me. I was amazed to hear from you and it is good that you remember me and advised me how I can grow my business step by step. Yes I want to sell soda as well but I don’t have fridge to put soda. I am living in Eldoret with my daughter Joy, she is now in class 1 am happy that she is working very hard in school. Cutting men hair is a good business but all I can do when I grow my beauty business. Where are from? Thank you for praying for us I believe God will increase my beauty and salon business that am doing here in Eldoret. Thank you and am looking forward to hear from you again soon. Much love, Jackline.

Greetings Jackline, this is James again. I am so happy to read from you, I was beginning to think that you would not get my letter and be able to reply. How is your business doing, and how is your Little Princess (Joy) doing in class 1? I really hope your business is doing good and continues that way during elections times. I know about those times, and the troubles that come with them. Do you and Little Princess have a safe place to go if necessary? I will be praying for you and all the people of Kenya that this election time will be a calm and safe time for all., without conflicts. I have lots of kids and families and friends all over Kenya. Anyway, I am sure Princess is doing her best in school. You said that you want to sell soda but don't have a fridge. Well honey, it may be possible to sell sodas even while you are saving for a fridge. Some people don't always expect a cold soda, they just want a soda (or somekind of snack) while they are waiting. You could be losing money all the time you are waiting to buy a fridge. Think about it. Why not buy just 1 case of soda (or however they come) and see if they sell. Another possibility is some kind of container to put some ice in for the sodas, but I would try the no ice sodas first since ice cost money. Think about it. Honey, I am not trying to rush you into doing anything, I am just giving you some ideas to think about so you can get more income. Just try and see what happens. You will never know unless you try. Do things at your pace as you can afford. Did you ask me where I am from, it seems you did in your letter but I am not sure. Anyway I am in the USA. What's the name of your business, do you have a name for it? Well Jackline, my prayers are with you and Joy every day, even to the end. Take care, do your best, and "keep on keeping on". By the way honey, your number one partner in your business is the Lord, but of course you already knew that. God bless you all. I hope to read from you again. NAKUPENDA. James
