About Me

MY CHILDHOOD AND EDUCATION
I started my education at Chebole Primary of Kipsonoi sub location when I was only 5. My school was approximately 4.5 KM away from our home. I had to trek for about 0ne and half hours barefooted. My parents was mere peasant farmers dealing with mixed farming. I joined Kaplong girls high school after completing my primary education in the year 2005. it was during this time that a business idea struck my mind. My fellow girls had challenge in weaving and plaiting their hair since they were not allowed to go outside till the term ends. My mother who runs salon and a beauty shop had a lot of time teaching me.My village is of red volcanic origin favoring dairy and tea farming. Our children are so much exposed and informed as far as their careers are concerned. Most want to be engineers,architect,pilots and most teachers. My hobby is playing with a key board,swimming and visiting various children homes.

My Business

MY GOODS AND SERVICE
My goods which i will deal with are weaves,artificial hair,beauty necklaces and earrings,under pants,bra and some other under pants,including other beauty products like lotions and beauty oils. These goods are of high demand because of high population of ladies in our neighboring institution(College)neighboring our home. I decided to choose this type of business because of the knowledge i had acquired when i was in school and the passion for beauty business.My typical cost include among others,rent,salary for one assistant to assist me in dealing with my customers as I busied myself in selling beauty products amounting to 200 Dollars per month.My revenue include income from our subsistence farming and two dairy cows and usually total to 150 US dollars monthly.
My profit will goes to school my siblings and to re invest in my business. I have also an idea of buying my own plot in future and start developing so as to build rental houses and increases my income as well.

Loan Proposal

My first loan will help me purchase the following items to boost my business.
1. Buying of electric sockets and wiring of my premise. 2 US Dollars
2.Labor charges 2. US Dollars
3.Buying of electric lamps 2 @ 50 1.US Dollars
This will benefit my business since i will now be using the electricity in heating water used in hair cleaning and also provide source of light hence working up to long hours. My customers will get the best service and my income will increase hence my standard of living.
I will expect my profit to increase by approximately 45%since I will work long hours and my customers doubling.
