About Me

I grew up in Chepkorio village in Uasing Gishu county. My father died when I was a small kid at the age of 8. My life was difficult could not attend school early since being raised by 1 parent is a challenge. I managed school up later on through a bursary which was stopped while I was still at school. I moved to Eldoret Town and stayed with my cousin where I worked in her salon and gained some skills there and started my salon last year.
I am blessed with 1 kid whom I love so much.
My future dream is to see it growing and become big business.
My home is situated on the north rift part my county. So for easy accessibility of my home from Eldoret to Chepkorio , you board a tax or any means of transport available .This will take you about 17 minutes to my premises. That is kerio village. While travelling to kerio village you will come across the following identity places, Dairy stage, Chepkorio primary and secondary school ,Chepkorio Seveth day Adventist Church. kerio lower village. Travel for about 600metres and then you will get to kerio market .From the market move straight with the main rough road until to the old Kerio cattle market, make a left turn just past the cattle market.
My home is just adjacent to cattle market

My Business

I do hair at my shop whereby I have 1 beautician working at my place.
All of us work on one customer at a time so as to save time and this make us known for efficient and quality services.
I started my business in few months ago and it's doing well, the challenge is limited stock and supplies.
Eldoret Centre is known for hair making so many customers come from all over for quick services. I would like to have a big salon in future.
Also, I started this business to save some money daily for its improvement.
After opening the capital was not enough but I had to keep working harder with the little resource I have.

Loan Proposal

I am acquiring funding from my valued lenders and the zidisha community for the purpose of business improvement.
Listed are some of the things I will need to purchase for the saloon:

hair cutting scissors @ 200/= $ 1.96
combs, brushes @ 400/= $ 3.91
shampoos, towels and drapes @ 2500/= $ 24.61
conditioner and hair dryer @ 5000/= $ 48.69
This will make my place known and other people will be bringing their clients. I hope this will increase revenue and profit to take care of family and employ another employee to impact lifes.
With the KES 8,200 I want to do the above for my beauty salon business.
I decided to join Zidisha Community to get financial support to improve my business.
