About Me

l am Richard Malvin kemeh born on 23rd June 1990 to Mr. John Kemeh and Christine Yakanu of blessed memory. I come from Dzodze Ketu North District capital of the Volta Region of Ghana. l had my Basic education at Dzodze R. C Demonstration School. l was elected as the School Prefect for 2006/2007 academic year and I'm proud to say l became First in the Basic Education Certificate Examination of the school in the year 2007 . Furthermore, l had admission to St. Paul Senior High School,Denu where l read Science for 4 years (from 2007 to 2011). It was very challenging academically and financially but with perseverance and determination l came out successfully.
On completion of my High school, l traveled to Daboase in the Western Region to stay with my uncle Clarkson who work there as Agricultural extension officer. l was helping him in managing his provision store in order to raised some money for my Tertiary Education. Nevertheless l realized that the provision store was not generating much income to support my tertiary education and knowing very well that my mum was just a petty trader and my daddy is just a basic school teacher whose salary is not sufficient to support my 3 other siblings' education. l decided to work with an India Timber Company AFRIKASIA that operate within P.S.G Company in Daboase from April 2013 to June 2014. while with them l was doing supervision and recording of the number of timbers loaded in the container for shipping through Takoradi harbor.

My Business

Potentially l was just raising some fund for my tertiary education and not to work permanently with AFRIKASIA even though my Director wanted me to stay.
l actually wanted to be a medical doctor but upon applying to the University of Ghana l was admitted to the School of Nursing instead in September 2014. By God's grace l save some substantial amount myself thus approximately GHC 10,000. and with a little support from my uncle and my parents, l am now a level 300 Nursing student.
Unfortunately for me my mum passed away on 22nd May 2015 and that has made it extremely difficult for me to pay for my school fee now.
Moreover, l sort for a sponsorship from our member of Parliament and other stakeholders but l have not receive any respond from them yet. Fortunate for me l met a friend in the University Campus who introduce me to Zidisha. l realized that is if l want to depend on some people for help l may end up deferring my Course for another year therefore l decided to seek a loan from Team Zidisha to able to pay may the rest of my school fees.
Thanks.
