About Me

MY STORY
My name is mercy kanjiru. I am 44 years old. I am married to pastor mtwapa i have two kids a boy 20 and a girll 14 in school . I was in meru currently live in mtwapa because of work. I now work as a private primary school teacher in Mombasa and volunteer at the sanctified ministries mtwapa as one of the children’s church there. I have a passion in community development and entrepreneurship and this is the reason why I work with community based organization and operate a business respectively.

My Business

MY BUSINESS
My business is young is less than 6 months and it involves selling second hand clothes. I sell them in the local market where I have engaged services of a lady who assists in selling while am at work.
I started this business with the main emphasis of solving a need, offering affordable clothing and accessories to men, women and children. My vision for this business is to be able to stock various varieties for clothes and other accessories for men, women and children. Nowadays, finding elegant and yet stylish clothing and accessories that is also affordable is not easy so people go for second hand items. My goal is to ensure that this is possible and that people may realize that you can be able to get any type of clothes and accessories.
Apart from fulfilling my passion as an entrepreneur, my business meets my daily needs and also allows me to read a lot about the clothing and textile industry.

Loan Proposal

I surely want to thank Zidisha team and all the lenders who have helped me have my business start growing. I now have more than double the number of clients and increased profits.
I pray to all my lenders and the Zidisha team to consider giving me a school fees loan for my daughter who is in High School. I am applying for Sh 22,828 to help me pay up the fees balances for this year 2015 to allow me enough room to engage more in business activities. The photo shown is for my daughter in class. The balances are: Tuition fees sh. 19,500, Exams fees sh 1,500, Transport sh 3,600, Meals sh. 12,000, Activity and Laboratory sh. 1,500. Toatal required is Ksh. 38100 (419 dollars).
This loan will help me reduce these balances especially to avoid having the child being sent home for fees this time they are about to start exams before proceeding for Easter holidays.
Once more I would like to thank Zidisha team and all the lenders who have made me start enjoying life and serve God freely without much stress. God bless you all in the name of Jesus.
