About Me

My name is Catherine Karanja, born and raised in Thika,I schooled at Mukui Primary School and Ruchu Girls high School. My childhood life was a bit hard in terms of food,clothing,schooling.etc.Many are times we went to school without food the whole day .I thank God because all that is history,i had to make my life much better by running my own business.I am a Forever Business Owner whereby i make my daily bread by retailing products. What i love about this business is that,i can deliver my products world wide.
I have two daughter,my first born told me that when she grows up,she would like to become a teacher and a musician.I love singing gospel music and cooking African dishes.

My Business

I work with Forever Living Company as a Distributor,I sell aloe Vera-based drinks and bee-derived cosmetics, nutritional supplements, and personal care products. Why i chose this business is that, most people around my area suffered a lot in terms of health, even after visiting hospitals for a longer period of time, they did not get much help.I introduced these products to some and i got a positive feedback about their health improvement.I usually retail and the profit i get i use it to buy food in the house and pays bills.I am also a farmer,i have a piece of land back at rural home, where i specialize in planting maize and beans and i do rabbit rearing which gives me good returns. We keep for their meat, manure and fur. These are all products that are beneficial and provides me with a regular source of income.

Project Proposal

I would like to ask for a loan so that i can be able to pay school fees for my daughter who will be seating for her fourth four final exams.I have a small business which will enable me to repay it weekly.

Happy new year indeed!I want to pass my sincere gratitude for your help.I received Ksh.28,942.So far I have spent some money buying rabbit feeds which costed me Ksh.23,500 and the balance spent on vaccination. I am expecting more than 60 bunnies in the next few weeks.I will be selling some rabbits for meat to my colleagues and other locals hence loan repayment won't be a problem.God bless.
