About Me

i am Ezekiel Nart sogbodjor: a Ghanaian who comes from Ada in the greater Accra Region of GHANA. am 46 years old. in my village it is difficult for one climb the academic ladder because the most common occupation is farming and fishing and therefore the perception is that no one can make it to top academically. but with dedication and commitment and focus i broke that perception. i started my business through self savings. my children want to become doctors, economist
I hold my bachelor degree in economics obtained from the university of cape coast and a master degree in finance obtained from the Wisconsin international university college, Ghana. am currently an economics tutor in ghanata senior high school and an administrator in Hill view senior high school . my hobbies are reading and researching into issues bordering society

My Business

am into second cycle education. the name of my school is hill view academy and we are in to provide excellent training and development to young people who are ready to excel in life. i choose this business because over the years education is left in hands of government alone but it is a fact that government alone cannot provide enough educational facilities to the growing population. the main source of income to the school is the school fees and returns on investment. however the expenditures of the school include payment of salaries to 35 staff members, buying of learning and teaching materials, rentals of some facilities. the profit of the school is used to expand the infrastructure, training programmes for the staff and to buy books for the school.

Loan Proposal

my first loan helped me acquire more stationery for my photocopy section of the school. however i want to acquire lamination and binding machines to help me facilitate the photocopy business. the machines will cost 200 dollars. The photocopy section of the school is purely for income generating which supplements the fees that the students pay. It is fetching the school more income because there is no such centres around the school and even other schools come to print their examination and other documents from the school. there by expanding and buying these machines it will boost the income further. i believe that the acquisition of these machines will help increase income levels by 60 %.
