About Me

My name is elizabeth otera i was born in 1989, i went to otiero primary school i stay in mtwapa a mother of two daughters, my business is selling second hand cloth. life has not been easy to me being a mother without a job i strangle to feed my family by buying and selling cloth, my main obstacle is luck of cash money to grow my small business. in our society it is not easy for a woman to be employed due to little education we receive because educating a girl child is considered a wast of money.
my hobby is swimming and traveling.

My Business

my business is seling second hard cloth,
i sell second hand cloth wich are still in good order. customers come to me because of my good customer care service.
i choose this business because second hand cloth are cheap and cloth are not perishable goods, so i can stay with any cloth which is not bought for long till it is bought .
what costs me is the rent for the stall i use to keep and sell my cloth, also the transport to and from buying the goods for sale at my place, may main revenue comes from the sales .
what i get from this business as my profit i use it to feed my family and pay school fees.

Loan Proposal

i intend to boost my business buy buying more stock to increase my sales. some of this amount will help in transport when ferrying my cloth form the wholesale because its a bit a distance form where i buy the second hand cloth for resale.
for instance this $8 will buy four pieces of cloth with are of good quality for resale at $2.5 to $3 which will increase my profit in the business.

i used my loan on buying additional cloth for more stock, mostly i targeted cloth for young people, where by i bought six pieces at 1usd. my selling price was 1.5 to 2 dollars which enabled me to make a profit of around 4 dollars.
it was beneficial to me and to the society because young children got some cheap and affordable cloth for there Christmas and new year holidays.

so far so good, my business keeps on growing. there has been an increase in profit by 7% that is last month i get $26.4 and now i got $28.29. this motivates me to continue, with more effort to make sure my business is running.
most cases i use this profit to increase my stock, that is buying more cloth to sale.
in the moth of December am planing to visit my parents at the country side, so i will use part of my profit to give my mum some money to spend.

the loan helped me to add on my stock which enable me to gain a considerable increase of my profit hence boosting my business development, and smooth operation of my day to day life. $1 to $2 enables be to buy more than eight pieces of second hand cloths which when sold can yield a profit of $0.5 to $0.7 per piece.

i will use this loan plus my part of savings to buy some cheap second hand cloth which goes to around usd 0.2 per piece so for usd 1 i will get approximately five pieces which i will sale at usd 0.5 per piece definitely it will boost my profit, which will help me to add on more stock for resale.
i would like to take this opportunity to say many thanks to my lender paul Graham. may God bless you.
