I am the first born in my family. I attended both primary and Secondary education at
St' Mary's Boys Primary/Secondary School. I used to go to school bear footed.
I manage to overcome the hardship after I started my own business. I come to start
my own business by doing some cause labors to earn money. When I got the first payment I started boiling eggs to sell to customers on the streets. After selling for
over one year I started selling second hand shoes. That was the time I bought my
self a pair of shoes.
I now sell second hand clothes which will enable me repay the loan. I sell
Men's jeans, Shirts and Bed sheets. The goods I sell are very cheap for every
body to afford. I choose this kind of business because I didn't have much money
to buy new products. A bale of Second hand clothes cost US$177.00 (Kshs. 17,000.00)
I use the profit for my upkeep and growing the business and also pay school fees for my siblings.
I will buy a bale of Jeans to sale and it will enable me to repay my loan. It will cost US$150.00 and I anticipate good business. The rest of the money I will renovate my kiosk. It will increase my profit to 50%.
