About Me

I greet you in the name of our God.My name is Peter maina i was born in kiambu county.I schooled in the same county a school know has Koru primary school.I did my exam for class eight and passed i joined county school called Nyabomba high school.I schooled for four years and sat for my exam i got i gread of B plain,but i didnt join any collage because of family problems.my parents they separeted it forced me to go to my grandmothers place back in the village and stay with him.In our family we are four two boys and two girls.Im the second born,now im married with two children aboy and a girl.After staying in the village a friend of mine came and took me to Nairobi city,to go and look for a job.The luck was not on my side on the streets of Nairobi i got my classmate who was hawking secondhand shoes.He told the goodness of the business,i went back home to borrow money from my grandmother.She gave me 30 dollars i came back to the city i started hawking the secondhand shoes on the street that is how u started my business.Our land is unique because most things are growing like maize,beans,banana,yams and dairly farming.Our culture are we circumcise girls.My first born want to be a teacher he says that teachers are smart,the second one she want to be a bus driver.Most of my time i watch Tv and read my bible to know more a bout God.

My Business

The business im doing is selling secondhand shoes in a free market area.The demand is high because they are cheap,and 90% of kenyans are poor so they go for cheap shoes compared to the new ones.The secondhand shoe are more durable than the new one.I choose this business because the starting capital was low and the profit was high they also need asmall space.This kind of business is easy and hard if your not used with it.I wake up ealy in the morning go round looking for the best,its like im a broker i buy the shoes with low price and sell them latet when the price are high.At the end of the day i can pick like 20 pairs every pair i buy 9 dollars so i spend 180 dollars per day.For ever pair i make a profit of 2 to 3 dollars for a good day i can also get 5 dollars that one comes with new customers.At the end of the day i can get a profit of 40 to 60 dollars.my expences are 5 dollar dairly for a lady work for me ,2 dollars for breakfast, 1 dollar for someone who carry the load and 6 dollars ever week for licence,i pay for storing 5 dollars ever month.I spend 155 dollars ber month.I also make aprofit of 800 to 1200 dollars i subtract 155 dollars i get 645 to 1045 dollars ever month.The money helps me to pay rent,electricty,buy food,pay school.fees for my children and 10% to church.I want to expand my business that will mean to employ more people.I want to build a house for my mother

Loan Proposal

If i am given the loan i will use it to add more stock for men.i will buy shoe polish all types to shine them, cream for ladies shoes.I will use the money to print my business cards to my customers.That one will make my sells to increase also the more i get the profit the more i expand the business.The profit i get i will also use it to pay my loan.Part of the money i will use for trasport from my house to the business place because its alittle beat far.Im looking forwad for the loan.Thank you
