About Me

I am Ronald Yegon from Kiptangwany in Nakuru county. I am 32 years old and married with two kids. I was born in Kampi ya moto in Baringo county- where I grew up and attended primary and secondary schools. I later went to Mosoriot teachers college for a course in education. So professionally I am a teacher working in Kiptangwany primary school where I also residing in.
I am also a farmer planting early maturing crops such as pigeon peas, beans and soya.
My hobbies are travelling, reading inspirational books and watching movies.

My Business

I have a small farm in Kiptangwany village- about one kilometer from Kiptangwany primary school. I plant mostly beans and other early maturing crops.
My harvest often go to both home consumption and sale. My main customers are the local residents and grocery owners in Nakuru town.
The farming business has been supplementing my income and I am planning to improve.

Loan Proposal

Before the end of the short rains in the region, I would like to plant pigeon peas in a section of my farm. This is because pigeon peas does well with minimal rains and will therefore survive the upcoming dry period between February and April.
I am therefore planning to use the $50 to buy quality seeds and fertilizer for palnting as soon as possible.
The timely planting will ensure timely harvest and good profit. The current harvest that I am planning to sell will help me repay the loan in time.

    Hello lenders.
Thank you so much to the lenders. I received the loan and bought the inputs.
However, the harvest i was planning to sell this month are still in store. I am planning to sell them as soon as the prices pick.
Right now i am writing to inform you that i would like to reduce the size of the installment for the mean time then resume my rate when i sell my produce.
    Thank you.
