About Me
My name is Geoffrey Kipkurui Cheruiyot, a Christian and a resident of Mauche village in Nakuru county. l am now 32 years of old, married to Narasha and blessed with three kids. l am the second born in a family of six .
I was born and grew up in the rural Mauche in Mau Narok area where we have the family land that we cultivate.
Since I could not study much, I do farming full time for the last 3 years ago, it has been helping us both as a source of food and income.
My hobbies are watching movies and sports during my free time.
My Business
I am a farmer full time and I produce both for home consumption and sale. I plantirish potatoes that does well in our area. The crops is one of the staple foods in our area and thus it enjoys a good constant market.
We plant three times in a year and sometimes twice when the cycle of rain delays especially for the first season commencing on January.
It is the onset of the long rains here and i'm planning to plant as soon as possible
Loan Proposal
To save on time and take advantage of the long rains that are yet to start, I would like to purchase ready Irish potato seeds- seeds that have already sprout and fertilizer.
I would therefore use the $100 loan on purchasing the fertilizer and seeds.
The loan will enable me to do a timely early planting while saving on time and resources which in turn will help me maintain and increase profits.
The timely planting will also ensure a better perfomance of the crop.
