About Me

Am Gabriel, I live in Nairobi in Zimmerman estate. I am 25 years old. Currently am in a student in jkuat where I study agribusiness. I have a younger sibling who is currently in high school. Since we only have our mother to rely on at times the finances get a little challenging. So I decided to do something I deem manageable and something that may not affect my studies. So I rented a small piece of land out town where I plant kale which I sell to local people.

My Business

I have a farm where I plant kale or in other terms sukumawiki. This type of vegetable is widely consumed and its a guaranteed money maker.
I have done this for three years now and it really boosts me in paying my school fees and it's not time consuming.
I harvest the kale at least twice a week and I. Can sell at least KES 3000 per a harvest. This gives me KES 24000 a month, after deductions of all the expenses I can say I make a profit of KES 10000 a month.
I use my profit to pay for my hostel fees and other little expenses I incurred and save any amount left.
I would like to add more farms I the future and do this as a large scale in the future.

Loan Proposal

Hello, I would like to express my gratitude to for the support you have given me this far. My business has been doing well and that's thanks to you, I have recently acquired another piece of farm and I would wish to plant more sukumawiki to help me have a continuous supply of the vegetable.
I would like to request for a loan of 42 usd, I will use this amount to buy seeds and fertilizer, first I will nature the seeds in a nursery before planting thing them this will help me ensure 100% growth during planting, that means I will not have to plant again, if any are left in the nursery I can sell them to get more income.
seeds will cost me 30 usd, I will use the remaining 12 usd to buy fertilizer. I hope you will fund my loan and help me accomplish this. May God bless you and I wish you a very happy new year.
