About Me

I am a Zambian lady aged 29, married with 3 children. I am only child of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Chilunda. Grown up lonely being the only child, I learned hard life style and ended out of school due to financial hardship in grade 8. And got married at the age of 17. During my family life I experienced up and down type of life. Until I decided to go back to school whilst maintaining marriage life and doing business as a marketeer, selling fruits such as apples and oranges. And I am now doing grade 10 at Anoya Zulu Day Secondary School.

Zambia our country, particularly Chipata our city has is a very friendly and hard working people who love to associate with people of different culture. We like seeing people progress in life.

My first born daughter aged 10, she says when she grow up, she wants to become nurse. And she is hard working at school. I am behind her vision.

During my pastime, I am very entertaining woman, who likes making people laugh - keeping them live.

My Business

My passion has always been to do business in the category of food industry - and from the onset of my business I have been selling fruits such as apples and oranges. Fruits in this part of the nation are on high demand, and sometimes sells like hot cake, due to the fact that they are imported from South Africa. Normally I do have fruits in stock worth $570, and one apple cost $0.35 and an orange cost $0.50. When the business is on a pick I make $50 per day.

Part of the profits that I make from my business I do reinvest in growing the business, my school fees, home improvement and my children's school fees.

Loan Proposal

When I am funded I will use the loan as follows:

1. Boxes of apples at $52
2. Boxes of oranges at $52
3. Transport at $47

This loan will greatly help to support my children for school, improve my home, support my school and boost my business.

We were selling our products along the main road and unexpetedly the government chased us from where we were doing our business. I have decided to reduce weekly repayment until further notice.

I greatly appreciate for the hand rendered to me, the loan that you funded me has boosted my business. But recently I experienced a slow down in my business, and this has led to reduce my weekly repayment amount to the one above. I will increase in due course when business has picked up.
