I was born in Nakuru county. I went through my schooling up to O levels. I was lucky enough to do my diploma in Early Childhood studies where my Parents sponsored me through that course. My parents were unable since my other siblings were still in primary and secondary school. I was chased out of school severally due to lack of fees for my terms and was forced to stay at home for almost the whole term.
After my college I engaged myself in some small farming where I used to hire a number of farms and that is where I came to have passion on farming. After I got married my husband was also a good business man who supported my farming.
I want to support my sons education with all means so that he can achieve it.
I would like to invest on farming where I plant vegetables, potatoes, maize and beans. I also do some dairy farming but I am not engaged in it.
With the salary I earn from my job, I usually reinvest in my farm. The profits earned from my farm are used to pay for my children's school fees.
With the loan I will get I plan to buy fertilizer and certified seeds for my farm. 50 kg fertilizer goes for Ksh. 3, 400, while certified maize goes for ksh. 1800 (10 kg).
I would like to buy farm produce and sell them to raise fees and create a bright future for my son. I will buy fertilizers and seedlings for planting potatoes and kales to sell in my farm.I would like to buy a lot of potatoe bags from the other farmers and sell them for a profit.
