About Me

I was born in 1978 in Nyeri. I have four other siblings me being the third born. My Dad is a retired teacher and my mum has been helping my dad raise me and my siblings. They are now practicing farmers in Kinangop, Nyandarua County.
I went to primary school at Bishop Mahiaini Primary School in Murang'a. I proceeded to Murang'a High School, then Egerton University - Njoro. I did a degree in Natural Resources Management and later Masters in Environmental Science. I graduated in 2013.
I am now employed at the National Environment Complaints Committe.
I am married with two children.

My Business

I would like to start the business of selling photocopying papers as a side hustle to improve the livelihood of my family. I will start small and grow from there. I have a friend of mine who is importing them from the UK and he has promised to sell to me at wholesale price. A packet of photocopy papers is approximately 250kshs. whole sale price. The same packet of papers of 500 sheets each is selling at 360kshs. retail. I know the market is there since we are located in Nairobi.
I would like to start selling these papers and hope to grow.

Loan Proposal

Together with a little money that i have been saving, I will start by buying 5 reams of paper at whole sale price (Kshs. 250) and sell at retail price of Kshs 360. This will be a profit of kshs. 100 per ream.
