About Me

My name is Charlotte Forson. I come from Nyankumasi Ahenkro in the central region of Ghana. Mostly called Fanti Nyankumasi. I never met my own parents alive. Hence i was raised by my first Uncle.
I did schooled for a while but i could not complete for obvious reasons of money. I was well taught the basic virtues of life at home and my endurance attitude has been my strength. I sell household cleaning materials in my small shop. Mostly brooms and brushes for sweeping and etc.
I am very happy for meeting Zidisha at this stage of my life now.

My Business

I sell house hold cleaning materials ranging from brooms of all kinds to mobs, buckets, detergents and many more. Sales was slow when i started but that has not been the case for eight months now.
There is a lot of new buildings in my area and these household cleaning materials are widely used everyday. Profits are good. It keeps the business going and maintains my simple lifestyle for which i am grateful.
I want to expand it greatly and sell more and impact my community. I do not have children yet but i will raise them well should i have some of my own.

Loan Proposal

When my loan project is supported, i will invest all the entire amount into my business. i will use the money to buy all the recharge card types that we have in Ghana.
Since i am aware that the member loan fund will be deducted, i will be receiving around some $100 so i have made a budget and plans to get inventory equal to the same amount and with my business i can really repay all my loan and on time too.
