About Me

My name is Juliet Mwangi a wife and mother to three children. I am passionate about family. I also love nature and enjoy gardening. What ticks me is the fact that God knows me by name and and knowing that, encourages me to go on with everyday life. I hold a diploma certificate in Community development - project management option. I also hold a diploma certificate in Business Management. in al\so hyave two adorable daughters and one handsome son. The elder daughter aspires to be a doctor, the second one a pilot . My son is still now a preschooler. I am passionate about knowing God intimately. I am also passionate about being of service to my husband and children. I am also passionate about the work I do.

My Business

Shamiri Charcoal started in January 2015. We have managed to increase production to 20tonnes per month. We have also managed to penetrate more regions for supply. We are still working to improve the product knowledge in various regions within the country and also place our brand name at the top list in green fuel. Recently, I started a distribution business where I sell tissues and serviettes to wholesalers at affordable rates.

Loan Proposal

I will use the loan to purchase a charcoal dryer. Currently in kenya we are exeriencing cold season with intervals of short rains. As such the charcoal is taking 2-3 days to dry hence it is affecting our supply demand. With the dryer it will only take 6 hours to dry 20 bags of charcoal at once. It is therefore necessary that i am granted this loan to enable me order and purchase a charcoal dryer.
