I am Florence Nekesa, I am the 3 born among 9 children. I grew up in a village set up with lots of problem ,dad passed on when I was 13 and my mother passed on when I was 14 years old ,in what I later learn t was HIV related complication.
After the death of my parents I was not able to continue with my education and dropped out of school at form two. I joined my aunt who had saloon and learnt hair dressing and beauty. after a year I was well versed with beauty industry but could not move out immediately due to lack for start up capital.through merry go round,I was able to save $300 that I used to open up my business.
our land and people are reach in culture, we border mt elgon which is a home to several wild animals and snakes.
I love swimming, watching movies, meeting new people and doing social work during my free time.
I provide hair and beauty services in my salon among the services I provide are manicure, pedicure, hair dressing and massage. These goods and services are in demand because I always serve my clients with dignity, love and care ,and provide quality services at good prices, which help me retain the customers.
I choose these business because I liked it and had passion in it since my childhood.
I spend $200 on average to run the saloon and get $500 per month as my revenues. I spend the revenues on sibling education, home improvement and business expansion.
