About Me

My name is mirrium, a single mother of two and an opharn. I was brought up by my grandmother in a christian family in the countryside. From childhood I always wanted to be unique in everything so after completing high school, for the first time I visited my aunt in town whereby I quickly adopted town life and through a neighbour I got my first part time job as an assistant in electrical maintenance since i had interest in the field. I was unique, everybody liked my pace at work and they decided to train me on electrical wiring and maintance so my apprenticeship began after three months of joining the company. After successful training, The company took me to college and and pursued a diploma in 3D animation and multimedia. For 20years, i still work here, at the Jockey Club of Kenya as an Electrician and studio technician.

My Business

The idea of business hit my mind in December 2016, six months after exclusively breastfeeding my second born. As a single parent, i noticed that I didn't have enough cash for the extra expense of bringing up baby and school fees for my first born. I prayed and fasted for a breakthrough and one morning a vision of owning a business as side hustle flashed in my mind and that's how I ventured into shoe business. Being festive month it picked up quickly and today, I'm glad I started something which has made me I've managed my bills so well like school fees, home management, development among other things.
I feel its time to expand it and maintain it as my main source of income because being a boss of myself is my dream.
