my name is Nelson maktso,I am the second born in a family of 8 children. I grew up in the village with my siblings .I went to Nyamasa primary school ,and proceeded to sawagongo high school where I did my KCSE, I passed well but my parents cpuld not raise my college fees.
I joined Umino Youth group ,the group was involved in youth empowerment programmes ,and we did table banking. Members could borrow from the group .After six months of doing casual jobs in construction sites and farm and saving in the group,I decided it was time to start something of my own. I had admired farmers and really liked what they were doing. I decided to try it out . I planted tomatoes in my 1/2 acre farm.the tomatoes did very and I was able to raise money for my first semester in a local polytechnic to study wiring. I am now a qualified electricity technician and a farmer.
we have traditional food, dances, and songs that are held up in esteem and is part of our culture.
I love watching football, and socializing with my peers during my free time. I am also a politician and would wish to get an elective post in future to help improve the lives of my people.
I am a farmer and electrical technician. I grow cabbages, tomatoes and kales in my farm.I also do electrical wiring for households in the neighborhoods. I always juggle with the two jobs and allocate time for each.
The demand for farm produce is always high throughout the year because of growing population and dwindling farming population.
I choose to do farming because it was very profitable and I loved it so much,on the other hand passion drove me do electricity wiring.
I spend $150 as production cost in the farm and get revenues of $300 per month. my electricity job gives me $100 per moth.
I use my money to invest in my farm and pay fees for my siblings so that they can get better education to sustain them in future.
my dear lenders,my farm needs permanent source of water and I wish to sink a borehole to support these. please help me with a loan of $200 so that I can be able to sink a borehole to supply water .the total cost for borehole is $300 and i would top up from my savings to top up. please help me achieve these dream, thank you
