About Me

My childhood education was quite an ordinary one consisting of pre-primary, primary and high school education which I managed fairly easily without any incidents attaining high grades that got me into a good university which I cleared in the year 2012. An important goal that I have achieved is gaining the confidence of clients and establishing a market for my services. This came through hours and hours reading and research, participating in workshops and enrolling in competitions, doing volunteer jobs and lastly forming a small working team . I came to start my business through help of family and friends and their connections but all this would not have come to be were it not for the passion that I have for ICT. I have always been fascinated how fast it grows and I want to also contribute something to that Currently I am an IT professional specialising in software development and design. I focus on freelance contracts and other viable projects both local and on-line. Creating innovative solutions that will help not only myself but the community at large is my primary goal. I am yet to have a family but one day it will be there. I like travelling, watching sports and gaming

My Business

My business offers IT solutions to both individuals, other businesses and corporate institutions. The solutions we offer ranges from consulting, project management to software design and development. I chose this kind of business due to its global reach and scalability and challenges that come with it that push me to be the best I can to maintain relevance in the market. The current workforce consists of five young lads but we mostly work from our own premises for convenience purposes. We therefore use a lot of Skype, emails and other communication tools as well as tools such as Team Viewer for communication, remote control and presentations. As it is, this business model heavily relies on internet connectivity hence internet charges contribute the most to operational costs. Other costs contributors include but are not limited to stationery, support equipment, on-line content charges etc. The main source of revenue for the business is remuneration earned from completed projects. Other sources are doing maintenance jobs on some of the completed projects and also making improvements to the same. Profits are used to keep the business running as well as home improvements.

Loan Proposal

My business model heavily relies on internet connectivity. It requires online availability 24/7 since you never know when a client/ colleague will require your attention. This has proven to be quite a challenge since in the past six months internet subscription costs with my ISP has increased by 60% and sometimes it is difficult to raise all that amount and I am disconnected. I would like a loan to help me fund for a six month subscription plan that will give me sometime to adjust my business plan with respect to that and also restock printing material (printing papers and ink cartridges)
