I am Samuel Opoku-Frempong, a Ghanaian Pharmacist ,work at District hospital and a small scale entrepreneur. I am into small scale medicine production for my clients and the community. I also superintend a community pharmacy which provides primary health care to the community. I am 46 years old and a family man.

I am into a small scale medicine production for my clients and the community. I produce different types of medicines such as Mist Expect Sed, Mist Magnesium Trisilicate, Mist Potassium Citrate, Ointments etc .I support this business with the loan I have received from you and reinvested profits gotten so far.

Loan Proposal

The loan will help me buy more bottles(750) that will cost $300, galenicals ($600)and other equipments($450) inorder to increase productivity hence more income.

    The raised funds will be use to acquire more materials for my small scale medicine production to serve my clients well and efficiently. The funds will go into buying more bottles, a mixer and gelanicals to increase production of medicine to meet the need of my clients.
    Part of the funds will be use to buy 5000 bottles, each bottle cost 50 ghana pesewas totalling ghc2,500.
    100 kilograms of gelanicals needed and each kilogram of the gelanicals cost ghc25 totalling ghc2,500.
    Part of the funds will be use to acquire mixer to aid good mixing of the medicine. A mixer cost ghc2,000.
    With this funds I will be able to increase production to meet the demand of my clients.

    I will buy bottles(1750), galenicals and equipments such as Mixers, Measuring cylinders,Basins etc.

    Since I want to expand my pharmacy business in production of medicines I bought chemicals( galenicals ) which cost 500 dollars,bottles (1500) cost 150 dollars, mixer costs 250 dollars and water filter costs 100 dollars.The total being 1000 dollars.
    I sold each bottle of medicine for 0.9 dollar which yields 1350 dollars making a profit of 350 dollars at end of sales.Thank you for the first loan, but need more funds to increase my production.
    This pharmacy business is helping me a lot and also providing quality medicines to mankind.
