About Me

I went to Koma primary school and proceeded to Bishop Njenga girls secondary school, but dropped out in form two after loosing my dad who was the sole bread winner. my mother who had no job could not take care of me and my three siblings. I went to Nairobi where I worked as a house girl to support my mum and family.
I worked as a house help and my boss who owned a saloon promoted be to a cashier in her saloon since she trusted me and I was well behaved. These is when I discovered I had a talent in hair dressing and beauty therapy. I started learning as I worked as ac ashier in the saloon, after a few months I was well versed with almost everything,I asked my boss if I could try and work on some clients and she agreed ,my worked was indeed good ,yet i had not got any formal training. i worked in the saloon for 6 months and made some savings,i then decided it was time to move on and opened my own saloon, my saloon is 6 months now and doing fine.I am planning to equip it so that it could be the best in town.
I am single mother of one bay boy called meshack ,his dad passed on in a road accident before we got married ,he is now two years old.
my hobbies include reading Novels, meeting new people and watching Documentaries.

I choose do these business because i had passion and knowledge about beauty. It is also able to comfortably sustain my basic needs .
I spend $150 in a month and earn $350 in revenues every month in average.
I spend my income by taking care of my son and helping my parents.I also pay fees for my niece whose parents passed on,when she was young.

Loan Proposal

I wish to borrow $200 that I would use to buy solar that I will use to heat water as well as for lighting my shop. the solar would be a big step towards improving my service delivery and efficiency to customers. The solar would help me cut electricity costs and loss of revenue due to frequent blackouts. the solar panel price is $350 and I would add $150 from my savings to get these equipment which has been my dream for a long time. Thank you in advance.
