About Me

I am lilian akinyi ,I went to st Georges primary school and St Georges secondary school.I then joined Kenya medical training institute for a diploma in clinical medicine. I got a job with an NGO it was only a years contract and we were working with poor communities to provide cheap health care , I was very happy to help these communities in remote areas.when my I lost my job I decided to open up a clinic in the remote area to help them. The clinic is based in very remote area with poor roads accessibility and with very high ,malaria prevalence due to proximity to lake.
I have one child whom I got as a result of rape, I am not always ashamed to say about it ,despite all these I love my child who will be turning three, I am currently engaged and looking forward to start a have a grate family.
I am always humble and saved ,I always feel obligated to help whenever I can, I always feel all children must be given a chance to live .

My Business

I provide medical services in my clinic and I always diagnose and treat minor diseases, since my business has just started I do not have enough equipment and I would always give fast aid and refer serious cases.
The demand for the services is high due to long distances to public hospitals and my fair prices .
my monthly typical costs are $200 per month for running the clinic and my monthly revenues are $450 per month.
I use the profits 50% to invest back to the business and the rest to pay fees for my child and one adopted child I live with and also support my family and siblings.

Loan Proposal

Due to higher demand of my services , I am sometimes forced to work up to late night but electricity has been a disappointment. I remember one occasion when a life was lost because of power breakout last month.I am determined to stop this and for these purpose I want to install solar system to help me cut costs as well as increase convenience for my customers.
The solar panel would cost me me $500 and I would top up with my savings to achieve these goal.thank you.
