About Me

I have a degree in Economics with a minor in Information Technology at Maseno University, graduating in 2010. In the last 4 years, I have been working as a private online tutor for college students in Europe, UK, USA, Canada, and Australia. I assist the college students in submitting quality essays and take them through research coursework.
I come from a family of four, two brothers, and a sister. I live in Nairobi, Manyanja road, zone 8. I thank God for my family, as they assist me in every possible way. Since i am the first born child, i feel that i should help my brothers and sister to attain better education through my project.

My Business

Private online tutoring is not an easy job. However, with commitment and focus, I have been able to make immense progress over time. I have initiated a working relationship with most of my clients, as they are my priority. As such, I have been able to get a stable source of income through my customers. I have been working diligently to ensure my customers are satisfied. As a result, I have increased my clientele base, as they are satisfied with the services I offer. I have increased my offering to include tutoring for exams such as SAT, GED, IGCSE, IELTS, and TOEFL. I also assist postgraduate students with research services for their academic papers and grading plus proofreading services.

Loan Proposal

As an online tutor, my clients need me to be there as per agreed schedules and on a daily basis with demand for my time and services rising drastically towards the end of semester. My main challenge is that the electricity supply in my country is never reliable. It often fluctuates and we can suffer blackouts for even days on end. This leads to my clients losing faith in my services and delays in producing time-sensitive assignments. Apparently, I also have two writers to assist me to deliver customer requests urgently and on time. Thus, lack of power for a short period can adversely affect my work. For the past period, I have had to pay fines due to delays in submission of my work, which has stalled the progress of my project. I ask Zidisha lenders to help me purchase a 1KV Portable Gasoline Power Generator. This will provide me with a secondary source of power and thus, my writers and I will be available for my clients at all times even when my neighborhood is facing a power outage. The generator I have in mind is the OEM manufactured by Taizhou Nimbus Machinery Company of China. The generator costs approximately $99 (Kes. 8,800) in my country and I know the increased efficiency in my job will offset this cost within two months and lead to higher income in subsequent months.
