My name is Ekra Nyambura , 23 years of age from Kenya. I have a background in IT majoring in Web and Mobile App Development. I have a great interest in Technology and passionate about Computing.

My Business

The ability to effectively use a computer has become a necessary aspect of working in most industries. With the computer being an everyday item , nowadays it is now a must that everyone knows how to use it. With that fact, one can conclude that a computer training center is a very lucrative business opportunity. Having worked as an office manager and a computer software trainer in some vocational training school in Kenya, i truly believe with a financial boost i will be able to execute and effectively fill in the business gap.

Loan Proposal

I will use this loan to at least purchase 8-10 personal computer units. Register the training to legally get licensed to carry out school business. Register with Computer Society of Kenya (CSK) to be accredited as one of the training center given the mandate to offer CSK Curriculum and exams rather than my internal exams and a certificate. I believe this will make me unique and build on my quality work by issuing certificates from a recognized exam body. Rent an office space as teaching venue. For my marketing plans am hoping to reach through direct marketing, print advertising and branding and my family is ready to help me in doing this.
First, i want to roll out the program in rural areas in major populated villages/growing small towns because most post secondary graduate migrate to urban areas in search of computer training centers just to acquire computer skills. Most parents are willing to pay for the training for their children because its one of the top most requirement when looking for a job either for skilled or unskilled labour. The time taken for one to join the university or college,most parents prefer one to be in school and enroll for short courses such as computer to get their mind busy with meaningful activities and develop their skills. After understanding this need, each student is expected at least pay $50-55 to fully enroll in the program for a duration of 1-2months. Am expecting my profit to increase day by day as my first target is to reach for atleast 30 registrations in 1-2months. After sucessfully getting 30of them, i will be able to raise $1500 and repay my loan early and in time. Most of profits earned i will plough back to business and expand by increasing more training centers and help create employment for other people.
