About Me

My name is Mary, I am married with 5 children. I am a farmer doing small scale farming in my farm. My eldest child is a boy who is 13 years old. He aspires to be a lawyer and other ones have not figured out what they want to be in the future.

My husband is also a farmer and we work together.

I am an active church members where I am involved in music evangelism. I spend my Sundays on such mission across my region.

My Business

I am a farmer who grows food crops for my family and a little more to sell in the local market. I also keep cattle and I have one dairy cow and two calves.

I sell milk to my neighbors and this gives me money that I need for running my family budget.

My business has grown exponentially of late, largely due to Zidisha credit and I am hoping to keep growing.

Loan Proposal

I want to start keeping rare birds such as guinea fowls and partridges as they tend to fetch more money in the market. I hope to be selling them and their eggs to hotels since the demand is growing steadily.

With this money, I will use USD 30 to build a modern coop for the birds and then spend USD 120 to buy 4 such birds which I will use for breeding. I am hoping to start reaping from this undertaking from early next year and this will boost my income in a great way.

Thanks.
