About Me

I was born in Kiambu county near the capital city of Kenya - Nairobi. I am currently living in Mombasa with my relatives because job opportunities are better here.

I'm a second born in a family of three, went to school up to college, I attained my college certificate in fashion design and interior decoration. My child was a rocky road having to deal with lack of school fees and that has molded me to become the aggressive person that I am today .

My Business

I'm a fashion designer I deal with making of clothes for both men and women . Clothing is one of the basic needs therefore providing quality and affordable clothes is my greatest passion.

I have always been passionate about fashion therefore venturing in it is my greatest dream. Narrowing down to acquiring of fabric, sewing machines and other sewing paraphernalia is quite expensive which is why I'm looking for a start up loan. Profits will go to growing my business and also improving my living standards .

Loan Proposal

I have just cleared my short course in fashion design. Due to lack of capital, I want to start in a small way and hopefully grow progressively. My plain is to buy tailoring items and then sell them to many tailors in my area.

I plan to buy and then sell these items:

1 dozen pair scissors at a total cost of USD 15
Tracing wheels at a total cost of USD 10.

This will be a good starting point and I hope to make some good profit and keep expanding my inventory.

    I acknowledge that I have a loan that is due but, I intend to settle it within the shortest time possible. The amount per installment is not fixed I can always increase it in order to fully cover my loan.

    I am really sorry I have not made any payment of late due to low sales caused by the current political uncertainty but I commit myself to paying. I do not take it for granted that you gave me a chance and helped me financially. I'll make arrangements as soon as possible

By the grace of God, my business is slowly getting back on its feet therefore, I should resume to my payment schedule starting from next week.     I received Ksh: 5612 which I was able to purchase fabric that I was in dire need of.

    With the money I got from Zidisha I was able to purchase fabrics which I was in dire need of. I bought the fabric,made and sold the clothes. I earned a profit of Sh;2000 which I plan on re-investing it back to my business. I am grateful to both God and Zidisha because my business has not only improved my life but also the lives of my siblings.

    With Sh.3919 that I received from Zidisha I was able to purchase fabrics that I really needed to start my fashion business. All these wouldn't have happened without your financial help. Fashion being my passion I intend to re-invest the profits back to my business,that way my business will grow and I will be able uplift the lives of those in need.
