Am Leah Wanja Currently working in a small small salon located in Kabazi centre. I was born and raised within this neighbourhood and after school, I didnt perfom well and my parents supported me to get education in a local polytechnic where I undertook a craft course. I was employed at Kabazi Fashcom communication for a period of one year. I decided to quit given my young child who requires my immediate attention. I am a team player and work well with others. I have strong dream to succeed in life and have been working hard to improve my life. I was unable to get a decent life when young but this did not deter me from working to achieve my goal in life. Given a chance now I can better my life since at my young age I have had experience on the harsh life.
Upon quiting my job, I decided to start a small salon given the skills that I do have. Here I have been offering plaiting services, applying cutex to clients and also selling few cosmetics. The business is doing fine bearing in mind that its new. I do also have two employees who earn on commission basis. They specialise in different areas and they also assist me in marketing. When they get the client, upon payment I give them commission,
I want to boost my business by stocking more stationery so as to sell more. my operation cost are low since i dont have to rent a room to operate from but in future i want to set up an office. When I get the loan, I will stock crayons, pencil, manilla papers, full scaps and will be selling them to my customers.
