About Me
ABOUT ME
My name is Linet Bisieri. I am a young entrepreneur and in particular passionate about changing the society and making a difference in the lives of many young people. I am an Advocate of Human Rights and love championing the rights of children. I have sat in various School Board Committees and I have largely contributed to the growth of many schools on a voluntary basis in my area.
My mantra has and will always be 'Education is Power & Key to success. I believe if we empower young people through education, they will have the know how to improve the society around them.

MY BUSINESS
In August last year, I started an Education Center in the heart of Mukuru Kwa Njenga Slums, one of the largest informal settlements in the County of Nairobi. It is non-profit. The school is known as Sayoona Education Center.
It mostly caters for children from poor backgrounds who cannot afford to pay high school fees. The school fees range is about Kshs. 800 - 1000 per child per term depending on the class they are in. This translates to about $8 -$10 per child per month. This is quite affordable compared to the elite schools which charge an average of $100 per child per month.
I will really be delighted to have you walk with me in this journey. I believe out of these children of challnegd status will arise a very prominet leader of this world? Wlak with me through to help them realize their dreams! :)
Loan Proposal
I will invest the loan amount and buy exrcise books for the children from financially challenged backgrounds.
The location of my school is in an informal settlement and it is a community school whose population comprises children from financially chllenged backgrounds.
Some of them are not able to pay learning starionery which lowers their self-esteem and the morale of learning and catching up with others dies down.
With your kind support, I will be able to buy the following:
10 Exercise Books each costs approximately $2
10 Pencils each costs approximately $2
10 Packets of Crayons each costs approximately $5
10 Manilla Papers each costs approximately $ 0.09682.
