About Me

my name is Angeline Akinyi
am Kenyan living in Kisumu at a small village called dunga beach.I went to primary School called Sighsabha in Kisumu town, then proceeded to xaverian secondary, after along struggle and the death if my parents,I started selling chapati and tea to pay for my secondary education, I could wake up very early and make them then live them with the neighbor to sell for me a gain in the evening do the same.and I could save every bit for school fees.that's how I managed to go for secondary school.

My Business

I have a food hotel,in dunga,
with enough customers, especially schools, Bodaboda men and tourist who come to view the lake and to see hippos so its at a strategic place, so I get quit a profit.I started this business by selling chapatis and tea then slowly my customers asked for ugali and beef so I tried it and it worked, so from my savings I started now making variety of foods
until now I bought few chairs for customers to sit on and gradually the place expanded.
my typical cost or revenue per week is 100 dollars.which is 10,000 ksh.
the way I intend to use the profit is to expand the hotel, and get better equipments and add more staff that will even help creat more employment for the people in my community and better our living.

Loan Proposal

I will add enough food stuff stock and better equipments for cooking and serving food for customers ,and expand my hotel so this will help me add more staff and increase my profit so that I clear the Loans in good time .and to do all this it will take 250 dollars.
the benefit that this will create for me is that now I will have more stock and big hotel plus good profit with enough staff that will help me clear up the loan faster. and for others they will benefit in such away that they will get employment and be able to take care if their families too.
and because it's a business I expect my profit to increase by 50%.
