About Me

I am Beth Njoki, a Kenyan from Kahiga shopping centre in Nakuru Kenya. I was born in this town and have been schooling in nearby school until 5 years ago when I completed my tertiary education. I having assisting my parents in small business they own (Hotel business) until recently when I decided to start my own so as to earn income. I have started a business so that I can lay foundation for my life. I am a go getter and do always work with determination focusing so much on what i want to achieve. Life has not been without challenges, but I dont give up, I focus much on the solution. My hobbies include reading inspirational materials as well as listening to slow music with life lessons.

My Business

I started a grocery business in the Kahiga shopping centre, I sell fruits and vegetables and do also sell pudding to my customers.
My customers come from around and sometimes I get customers who pass by here. I own a blending machine and do make juice from various fruits. I buy fruits like bananas, avocadoes, apples and mangoes from surrounding areas particulary Subukia town which is large or Nakuru town and store some in my house and in my business and sell them when ripe. I am certain that one day I will be in a position to start a business that will bring much change to my life and my family.

Loan Proposal

In my second zidisha loan, I do propose that you lend me loan so that I can change the outward appearance of my business by painting so as to increase customers and also buy additional utensils like cutlery and plates. I want to make my fruit joint attractive. I will also come in to add the amount from zidisha and do intend to invest about 200USD towards my new look business. I did pledge to contribute to the members deposit fund so as to get a higher loan and thats what I did. I will count on your support in my following loans so that I can even operate fro large room and have variety of other products on offer. I will deposit some funds with zidisha at start so that I can grow up financially.
