About Me

I am John maina, Kenyan aged 30 yrs and a proud father of two boys. I was born in Nairobi kayole estate where I went to imara primary school. I then went to ofafa Jericho high school and later Kenya polytechnic college where I did my diploma in accountancy.

My Business

I started doing business in 2019 where I started selling old and new bags at kayole junction. The business was doing well until I was relocated city council to another area. I had to rethink because the sales we shrinking so I opened a shop where I sell things in wholesale and retail. The shop is located in kayole area near Kona market off spine road plot no. A4-637 near blue sky.The shop, which is called Okoa shop, makes an average sale of 150$ per day and with that it's able to pay me 10$ per day and the other 140$ goes back to the shop. I have one employee whom I pay 60$ monthly. The demand is so high that sometimes I am unable to meet it that is why I am requesting for 1500$ for me to have good stock so that the customers may not lack anything. With that amount, the average sales per day will increase to 250$ to 300$ or even 400$ and with that I am sure I will be able to pay myself 25$ to 35$.

Loan Proposal

I want to use the loan amount to increase my stock. The items that I will buy are 25kgs of rice and 25kg of black beans. The dry grains are a good source of income because people use the for consumption every day.

Income Source

With the profit that I make every day from my business, it will not be hard to pay the loan. I will do it the way I did my last loan.

The reason why I want to adjust my loan payment is because my income reduced drastically during the last three months. It reduces by roughly 90% within those months. That forced me to rearrange my life again and start over. It was so difficult that paying normal rent was a problem so I had to move with my family from my one bedroom house and squeeze ourselves in the shop.i moved last month.i want to use this January to 'regroup' again. I also take this time to apologise for defaulting the loan. I thought I would be able to pay but after seeing my business struggle month by month late last year, I knew I had to first change things. I will try my level best to pay the 423 Shs weekly and clear the loan. Hope you accept this request. Regards

I have reminded him to pay off his past payments to maintain his credit percentage.
