About Me

i am a married woman with one child, a son who is two years old. professionally i run a cereals shop located in free area shopping centre,opposite nakuru municipal hospital near free area chiefs camp nakuru . i opted for this business in 2010 since i found satisfaction in self employment. i studied human resource and found it a bit challenging to get a proper job. during my free time, i love having fun with my son and watching movies. apart from that, i enjoy baking. i come from a large family and hence learnt to pave my own way at a tender age despite my over protective brothers. this has helped me survive in the business world.

My Business

normally, i make up to 620dollars per month. i pay a rent of 62dollars and on transport of cereals from the market, i spend not more than40dollars. the cereals include, green grams, maize, beans, rice among other commodities. most of my clients are locals. the area is densely populated and therefore there is always a ready market. apart from that, i weigh the commodities in small and large portions to make them available to consumers from all social classes.occasionally, i hire a delivery boy to deliver large quantities of cereals to clients within a certain radius.

Loan Proposal

I WIL USE THE LOAN TO BUY CEREALS SO THAT I CAN BOOST MY CEREAL SHOP.I WILL BUY ATLEAST 4 SACKS OF MAIZE TO MY STOCK.1 SACK OF MAIZE WIL COST KSH.2550 AND UPON SELING I WIL GET A PROFIT OF KSH 1500 PER SACK.IF GIVEN THIS AMOUNT IT WIL BOOST MY CEREAL SHOP SINCE I HAVE OTHER CEREALS I ALREADY SELL LIKE BEANS ,RICE,DENGU AMONG OTHERS .THE MAIZE BUSINESS WIL BE A BOOM BECAUSE MAIZE IS THE MOST STABLE FOOD IN NAKURU. THEREFORE THIER WIL BE A HIGH DEMAND FOR MAIZE.THEREFORE GIVEN THIS AMOUNT IT WIL BOOST ME ESPECIALY MY BUSINESS
