I come from a family of three . A single parent background that has toughened me and my sister . I am a university graduate in the field of art and design . I completed my education and pursued a career in art which am passionate about . I started my own tattoo shop that has grown over the years . I use the income from my business to farm and build up on my art talent by studies and trainings . My hobbies are drawing , swimming , traveling and reading . During my free time i search for new products online and developments in my line of work .
I am a tattoo artist with a shop in Nairobi town at Reinsurance plaza . I have been doing it for four years now and am looking to expand my tattoo shop . A tattoo costs a minimum of 40$ and i have a minimum of 5 clients per week . There is an increase in the number of tattoo shops around town that are doing sub standard work and have posed a threat to the business by instilling fear to potential clients . I want to expand the business to a bigger space where i can also add some tattoo accessories that add up the products available at my shop . My typical monthly costs are about 30,000 which are becoming a strain since i only offer tattooing services and with the rising fear to potential clients business has gone down . My average profits have gone down to around 20,000 which goes to maintenance . I want to add piercings which cost around 30 $ and accessories at a cost of 20$ to my shop which will boost my business performance and increase my profits .
I want to add piercings which cost around 30 $ and accessories at a cost of 20$ to my shop which will boost my business performance and increase my profits . This will enhance the growth of the business and help me to diversify and increase the business potential . I would appreciate any assistance to enhance my business to a viable income generating activity .
