My name is Mercy i was raised up in Trans nzoia county ,kitale in a family of eight siblings .During my childhood i was brought up in a poor background my parents being peasant farmers. My school life was a challenge but through government bursaries i was able to complete my high school education.
I was not able to proceed to university or college due to lack of school fees since my younger siblings were still in school.I started a business of a food kiosk .I was selling tea and fast food in kitale bus stage.Through the saving i made from the business i joined university and took a degree in business management.
After the graduation i was employed in a company in kitale town as sales lady.
Later i started a my own business of phone and phone accessories shop in town.
My business is located at the railway line Kitale town,Trans nzoia county. My business deals in selling of phones and phone accessories.I started this business due to the great demand of phone and phone accessories because it is densely populated.I started the business from the savings i made from the salary after releasing that Kenya technology is raising in a fast rate therefore almost everyone owns a phone or needs to own one
I earn $300 to $ 400 a month and i use the profit i get to pay rent and other bills and re-invest .I use the some of the income to pay fees to my younger siblings.
When granted this Loan i will purchase phone accessories,ie Chargers, batteries, earphones .This will increase my profit margin to 30%.This will be very beneficial to my business and my family.I will use the profit from the business to pay bills,re invest and educate my younger siblings
My estimated budget:-
Chargers @ 100 x 50 = ksh 5000 ( 50 us Dollar)
Batteries @ 80 X 40 = KSH 3200(40 US Dollar)
Earphones @ 50 x 20 = ksh 1000 ( 10 us Dollar)
