About Me

My name is Andy Maxwell .I was born in Berekum in Brong Ahafo Region.My parents practiced small scale farming and also business.They owned a dairy shop.Most of my childhood involved going to a local school and also assist my parents in household during the weekends.

After my high school education i attended National youth services since i wanted to join the Ghana Police Service.After completing attending Ghana police training ,Unfortunately i wasn't selected to join the Ghana Police service due to my height.I was frustrated and disappointed since i had spent most of the time working hard to join the Ghana Police Service to be come police.

My parents told me that now am an adult and i should cater for myself i had to travel to Accra ,the capital city of ghana to look for a job which wasn't available.Luckily i was able to convince some beauty shops that i would hawk their products and we agreed on a commission.I worked really hard and within two years i was able to save some money and start my own shop which i have up to now.

My Business

My business deals with sale of beauty products from hair lotion,body lotion,hair extensions,handbags to earrings. The goods i sell are on demand since every woman would want to look beautiful and stand out from the crowd.

I chose this kind of business because its fast growing and with the right source it can be profitable.I normally source from wholesalers who have imported from different nation such as china,Dubai,London but i want to reverse and become the one sourcing directly.This way i will be able to make huge profit.
My typical costs in the shop include paying rent,electricity bills.I make a profit of $400 monthly which i use for my daily use and support my family.

Loan Proposal

If i get funded $100, i will use to it increase the stock of hair lotion and hair spray in my cosmetic.This will be beneficial since they are moving very fast and also where the business is situated most ladies are middle class working women who buy most of my product.It will help them look more pretty when going to work. Their hair is glamorous since our African hair requires a lot of maintenance to look great.Thanks for reading through and your contribution is welcome.
