About Me

I am the last born of a family of three children and one mother.I did not manage to go to school and neither did my brothers and sisters. We basically hid away in classrooms here and there trying to get an education in the nearby schools without the knowledge of the teaching staff. However i got an education by doing chores for people in the nearby town and managed to attend some primary school at Netima RC Primary school.
My mother would make and sell buns to kids at break in the nearby Netima RC Primary school and i would be by her side wrapping the buns which we sold at 5kshs per bun (approx 0.05 US cents). My mother was a very hardworking woman and she managed to raise us well.We never went hungry and we were always helping her in our farm where we kept local chicken and goats.

My Business

Because of how i grew up i learned how to make the buns but after selling these since i was in my teenage years i now move on a bicycle with a large supplies box and reach into the village supplying items to those shops which i have bought in Bungoma town and which those shops find hard to access by going to Bungoma town.So i buy supplies from wholesalers in the main Bungoma town such as Adatia wholesalers,Khetia and Buyako wholesalers and then ride my bicycle through the reserves/ through the rural area shops supplying them at a discounted fee but at a fee that is safe enough for me to make a profit. Many of these rural shops get their supplies by sending motorbike riders who charge them to and from the wholesalers so i give them an easier way to access products while making a daily profit for myself.I supply bathing soap, detergents, womens sanitary towels, radio batteries/cells, sweets etc
I am in the process of buying a motorbike to use in supplying my goods to shops and other clients and have even paid a part of the motorbikes price, about 20% and still paying.

Loan Proposal

After the first loan i managed to open a shop and want to stock it with 3 bales of Wheat flour 40$ and 4 bags of sugar worth 45$ and sodas worth 60$ and mens, womens and childrens shoes worth 100$. With this investment i am sure to make a return of 20$ per week and can increase the bike sales too while running the shop.I can also keep my wife busy with the shop.
