About Me

My name is Felix Agyei born on the 18th June 1983 and i am 32 years of age. I come from Kumasi in the Ashante region of Ghana. I am the second born among three children of my parents. i had my basic education at Madona Junior high and continued to the Kumasi Anglican Senior High. My mother is a single mother who has for sometime now engaged herself in petty trading. Through the little efforts of my mother, she has been able to give my siblings and I the best of education that she could afford. My younger brother due to some reasons are not staying with us and therefore taking care of my mother largely depends on me. I completed senior high school in the year 2009 and later furthered my education to offer general nursing. Before gaining admission into the tertiary institution, I had to involve myself in various types of businesses which helped me raise some amount of money for school. Back in the senior high school, things were not that easy as sometimes I had to quit classes hours just to make some amount of money to help in my education. This with the support of my mother helped me to buy some books and other education materials. After school, I engaged myself in the business of selling popcorn. A friend of mine bought the popcorn machine which employed me to look after. During my time in tertiary education, I was able to set up a small provisions store with my allowance for my mum that will help her keep up the home. Because I have not gained employment yet due to the economic hardships in the country, I have not been able to expand the shop yet. I strongly believe Zidisha organization that will raise me up to high to achieve my dreams. my hobbies are reading , watching moves ,swimming ,jogging and traveling.

My Business

I business that I involve myself in is the provisions store that I established it with small amount of money but now it is growing well. Currently because I have not gained employment yet I normally try to manage my provision store to help my family. Because it is a provisions store, some of the items i trade in are drinks, milk, milo etc. Most of the items we collect on credit bases and sell. We the refund the money when it is sold. Because the items are picked up on credit bases, it is difficult to make maximum profit out of it. Through the little money that i obtain from this shop, i are able to cater for myself, my mother and one little girl that we are staying with. I i need loan to expand my provision shop to meet the demands of my customers in or order to get the maximum profit out of it to pay my daughter School fees too . Thank you. i need more stock i more millo and soap of box and more stock . i hope to get profit of 45% from my shop.

Loan Proposal

i am very appreciated so much of my dear leaders for funded my first loan for me .i also thank the Zidisha team for their offer of my first loan .That loan has helped me so much but now i need another loan of $430 to buy more items to stock my provision store to meed the demands of my customers and able to pay my daughter school fees.i will use $330 to buy bags of sugar, rice and packet of milo, soap, paste and sardine etc to stock my provision store.i will use $100 to pay my daughter school fees.i am pleading with my dear leaders to help me to funding my loan for me Thank you
