About Me

I am currently enrolled as a Distance Learning Student with the University of Cape Coast (UCC). I am pursing a Diploma in Basic Education. I hope to graduate by next year and be employed as a professional teacher. Barely a few months ago, I successfully rented a shop, which I am currently using for business to sell vegetables and various cooking ingredients. I am hoping to expand my business and make more profit to be able to pay my school fees and other educational expenses.

My Business

I started my business a few months ago by buying a few cooking items such as vegetables and spices and selling from the house. Soon, I realized the market was available so I started searching around my area for a place to rent for my business. By the grace of God, I got a container which was by the road side and not too far from my place of residence. I used my savings to pay the rent fee and the rest to buy a few items to sell. Business has been good but the lack of capital means I purchase goods on smaller scale and this drastically reduces my profit margin. I have currently employed one lady who helps me to take care of the shop.

Loan Proposal

I will use some of this money to repair my refrigerator at my shop. I will use the rest to re-stock my shop by ordering for provisions. These will include small bags of rice, milk, milo, oil, soap, etc. Thank you.
