About Me

Molly Achieng Ochola is my name. l was born in Kisumu-Kenya. I am a total orphan .l like reading travelling and doing volunteer work. My business is selling second hand clothes and get an income from it. l graduated from college with a diploma in social work and community development. l got short term jobs and unfortunately l could not find a permanent so l decided to open my small business to sustain me and my younger siblings.
I am married still with no child. l used some of my profits to send my younger brothers to school and take care of their basic needs. l also save some for my business. l stated this small business because life was not easy for us after my both parents died, but I thank God I am able to pull through.

My Business

I would like to first thank lenders and Zidisha team for given me this chance to apply for my third loan. My business is a small business but with a bigger profit margin, and the demand is very high in the market . with an investment of ksh3000(USD33) I am able to make a profit of ksh3500(USD38.5) within a month. l want to meet the demand of my customers that is why l want the lenders to support me to satisfy the demands of my customers. If l get a loan, my life will change for the better, I will be able to make more profit from the business.l am therefore requesting all the lenders to help me to achieve this dream. l will work hard so that l will be able to repay the loan on time. I must say my life has improved with my business despite the low sales in January and February, but again the business is picking up and with the change in weather-cold, a new demand for trench coats and children clothing is high and I would like to take advantage of that.Thank you in Advance.

Loan Proposal

My stock of second hand clothes has reduced, I therefore plan to increase it with my second loan. with USD65 I will be able to purchase 4bales of imported second hand clothes, I mix a variety of children clothes and female cloths, trench coats and also men casual ware. If I successfully sell this stock I am likely to make a profit of USD87 or thereabout depending on the bargaining power of the customers. I plan to get an open stall( I have already identified one) which I pay rent of USD21 per month, going forward I can renovate it to be my store where I keep the stocks during the night.
I strongly believe this loan will bring a general improvement to my variety and also make my customers happy. thank you very much!
