About Me

I was born in Taita and i grew up there. I went to Dembwa primary school and later i joined Mwandango secondary school. after finishing high school i taught pre-primary school in a nearby school in my home. I later undertook vocational training in typing. after finishing vocational training, i went to Nairobi to work as a casual laborer. currently i live in Taita with my family and i do some business here. My future dream is to give support to all orphans in the community i live

My Business

My business deal with selling of sandals, panties, socks, pegs, and women lesos. I started this business on December 2014 after i noted that there were new designs of sandals in the market and had not been adopted in the community i live. I started the business with sandals and it gave me good returns. this made me to expand it by bringing in new items. My biggest challenge in the business is insufficient funds to expand the business so that i can meet the high demand of these items in taita slums. My main customers are the locals and school children. And i make profits of upto $50 per month which i use for family needs. My goals for the business is to house my business in a one big room.

Loan Proposal

With the loan adding my little savings I will purchase sandals, clothes such as kanga, kitenge and kikoi shawl as well as children's clothes and women's and girls panties plus accessories such as bungles and bracelets and necklaces. This wil cost me a total of around Ksh. 25,000 This purchase will increase my stock and enable me to have a variety of items. This will increase my sales and revenue hence increased profits. I expect my business to further expand and be stable while my standards of living and that of my family to improve.
