About Me

I am Maureen born in the year 1996, a resident of Wei, am currently employed in a cosmetic shop and am accumulating funds to enable me start a permanent business. I have experience in pedicure and have been doing this to earn extra income. My clients like my services and thus am on high demand. My skill was from my continued assistance of my sister who owned a salon, I was quick at learning most of what she was doing to customers and with time i perfected it. Initially I was doing it for fun and did not charge my friends, i later noticed that this is a very viable business with good returns. I started stocking various accessories and could apply the same to clients.

My Business

With time I made my name and most salons were ready to take me as one of their employees which I did but later felt that i was being exploited since the employer took majority share of my earnings. I decided to quit and do it my self where I could keep all the profit. I have customers who call me or come to my house for pedicure, i do nail polishing and application of cutex with variety of patterns or specifically what my customers want, my charges vary depending on style and other factors. i have made a name in my neighbourhood and also within my friends who also refer new customers. The business is doing well since am able to boost my income.

Loan Proposal

I want to buy a stock of cutex and dummy nails plus finish, with this i will have variety to show my clients and satisfy their requirement. Hopefully in future I will have a permanent premises to operate from and again in a big town so as to increase my capital base.
