My name is Lydiah Cherobon. I was born and bred in Nakuru and i schooled in Nakuru both primary and secondary and even college . After school i got employed severally until i was able to start my own chemist business.
My life has been that of challenges and i am thankful i was able to overcome the hardships through faith and hard work. That is what motivated me and helped me focus on the important goals in life.
I started the business through savings from my previous employments and being that they were pharmaceutical related , It gave me that idea of having a business of my own.
I stay in Nakuru which is a cosmopolitan town and as such there are various cultures interact with each other.
I would like my children to be doctors or be in medical careers as this will help in saving of lives and also they will earn well, as doctor in Kenya is a highly rated profession.
In my free time i do a lot of reading and swimming as a way of relaxing
I operate a pharmaceutical shop in town. This is a business that is profitable as there are hospital and clinics around my shop and as a result clients buy medicine in wholesale and retail. I also get references from different doctors and hospitals. The place is busy hence profitable to me . I chose this kind of business because I did my Pharmaceutical course when in college and having worked in a various chemists.
I usually make between $220 to $300 this helps me to pay for my bills and take my children to school.
The living standards in Nakuru have been on the rise and as such the profits from this business helps me to meet my commitments.
