About Me

I am Kofi Tabiri, the second of four. I obtained my primary and secondary education at All for christ International school, one of the most decorated schools academically in my town. My parents are purely cocoa farmers. Paying school fees on time was one major problem I faced in school. This is because the fund raised by my father from his cocoa farm was not enough to take care of all the four of us.
I remember been sent home consistently for school fees. This never let me loose hope. I struggled to pursue my education.
I now hold Degree in accounting from the University of Cape Coast (UCC) one of the best universities in Ghana. Though I am decorated with 1st class degree certificate, looking for job was not an easy thing at all. I travel miles to present my qualifications for employment where ever and whenever I hear of vacancy of my profession but to no avail. I raised some money on my own and my father gave me some money to what I have raised to start provision store.
Almost every person in my home town will farm even when they earn huge amount from decorative works with income. I found this amazing. I take delight in watching football and playing soccer as my hobbies.

My Business

"ARISE TRADING ENTERPRISE" is the name of my provision store. I sell all kinds of provisions to customers at affordable prices. Listed below are some of the items available for sale in my provision store: rice, cooking oil, gari beans, toiletries, filted mineral water, all kinds of sanitary pads. That is for both babies and adults. I chose this type of business it is easy to operate. My cost $200 weekly. The revenue is $600. 65% of my profit is plough back or reinvested to the business. 20% is used to is used to support my brothers in school,15% is use to settle all kinds of bills accumulated to my business.

Loan Proposal

I want a loan of $ 426 to invest into my store. I want to bring into my store farming tools like cutlasses, axe, whoe, matock and the rest, this is because we are into new season of farming and for that matter the demand for these items is really high. This will cost about $226. The remaing $200 will be used to buy rice, sugar, milk, stationeries, soft drinks for retail. I hope my loan will be funded on time. Thanks to my lenders and the entire zidisha team in advance.

Kofi had asked for a large loan which was funded, he has not made any effort to repay or to explain why he has not. It has been over a year.
